Brett Donlevy

Brett Donlevy

Classes: Beginner Yoga - Intermediate Yoga

Brett was born and raised in Saskatoon. She graduated from Aden Bowman in 2004 and the University of Saskatchewan in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She began practicing yoga in 2005 and furthered her interest in the subject on a summer study program with the U of S to India in 2006. She set out to the Sivananda Ashram in Bahamas in the spring of 2009 to deepen her relationship with yoga in a formal 200hr Teacher Training Program. Brett began teaching in 2011 where she was able to reach kids in schools across Saskatoon, yoga studio participants, as well as kids and teaching staff on and off reserve in the Northern Communities of Buffalo Narrows and La Loche. In the winter of 2012 Brett headed to Maui to pursue 500hr Teacher Training with Maya Yoga (teachers Eddie Modestini and Nicki Doane). 2015 found Brett on a personal sabbatical on Vancouver Island where she began to practice and study Iyengar Yoga. The Iyengar method is the one that informs a lot Brett’s teaching as it focuses on safety and precise alignment while making yoga accessible for everybody.  Brett continues to follow along with the thread of yoga letting it guide her to magical places and incredible teachers.

Kendall Manz

Kendall Manz

Class: Gentle Yoga

Kendall began her practice of yoga in her mid-thirties starting with the city of Saskatoon classes… and loved it so much she just fell into teaching as an extension of her practice. She teaches fitness, gentle, chair and is certified for specific groups and athletes. She’s also in pursuit of her 200RYT designation with the goal to complete in 2020. When not being a yogi, she’s married with three kids 11 and under which fills in the time-gaps nicely. She currently teaches 5-6 days a week with the city of Saskatoon and is looking forward to connecting with and helping the BCA breathe, flex and relax!
